I can tell this is already going to be a top series for me. The characters are likeable yet fallible with understandable motives. The pacing is great. The plot makes sense, has great foreshadowing, but isn't a bit predictable. It's absolutely Sci-Fi, but not in a jargon-y robots in space way. Lots of action with sprinkled in humor - not over done thank God - and a surprising amount of heart. I am so impressed with this story.

The first book in the DCC series is silly, action packed, and sets the tone for the rest of books. Definitely recommend the audiobook for this one!
