This was just fine - it'll be a fun bookclub conversation though. I'm just not the biggest fan of "cozy" stories, and this one is incredibly cozy. Except for the battle scenes towards the end, which didn't match the vibe of the rest of the story and seemed out of place to me. It also surprises me when a book has such graphic spicy scenes, but only once or twice. Why focus so much on plot if your readers are just here for the smut? But whatever, the plot was pretty bare-bones and meh anyway.
